Jada began her recovery journey on March 20, 2020. Growing up in Statesboro, Georgia, in a home impacted by addiction, she faced challenges early in life and struggled to find a sense of belonging. By 17, she had left home, and by 18 her own addiction had worsened. The loss of a close friend to overdose brought her to her first meeting at The Fork, a turning point that introduced her to the recovery community.

Since then, Jada has achieved milestones she once thought were out of reach, including becoming CPS-Y certified. Today, she leads meetings and provides peer support for children and young adults at Gardens of Hope in Lyons, GA. Filled with gratitude, she now offers to others the same support and hope that transformed her own life.
